Stockmate's objective
Stockmate is a service that aims to help retail investors beat the stock market. We make advanced data-driven investment methods easily accessible to both beginners and experienced traders. Behind the company is a team of experienced stock and tech enthusiasts with a strong interest in systematic investment.
Collaboration with Börslabbet from Sweden
Stockmate was established in December 2022 as a Danish extension of Börslabbet.se - a similar service from Sweden that since 2017 has helped thousands of retail investors achieve a high return. Börslabbet is started and run by Henning Hammar, who is also a co-owner and Head of Investments at Stockmate.
Henning Hammar - the brain behind the investment strategy
With a Ph.D. in physics and great expertise and interest in investment, Henning Hammar early on became interested in systematic investment, data-based methods, and their potential. When he started investing in stocks, he asked himself, "How do you invest most effectively?"
He quickly realized that many have researched this topic, and have come up with well-documented investment methods that outperform the market over time. Another conclusion was that we humans often make behavioral errors when investing and that we usually do better when we follow simple rules. Thus, his interest in data-based investment strategies developed. These have emerged after decades of research and are built on principles that have worked for over a hundred years on the stock market.
After successfully applying these strategies and writing about them since 2014 on his blog Investerarfysikern, Henning wanted to share his experiences with other retail investors. Therefore, he started Börslabbet, where members get the necessary tools and knowledge to invest in the same simple, data-driven method - and thus also have a good opportunity to outperform the market.
Today, Henning Hammar is considered one of Sweden's leading experts in data-driven investment strategies.
The service in Denmark
Stockmate's investment algorithm, which underlies the strategy for the model portfolio, was developed by Henning Hammar and adapted to Danish conditions and regulations. The algorithm is based on the most effective investment methods from Henning's research, which historically has worked best on the Nordic stock exchanges.
In Denmark, Henning has teamed up with the brothers Anders Nygaard and Kasper Wickzén, who are responsible for running the company, Stockmate ApS.
Anders, who is responsible for product development and marketing, has previously started and run a subscription service. Through this, he has gained experience with user behavior and how to effectively reach potential members. After working with technology and software for many years, he will make sure that the product is of top quality.
Kasper has a long career in branding, sales, and commercial partnerships. He is responsible for business development and the establishment of potential partnerships that can create value for the members of Stockmate.
